On 27 September 2025, Zambezi MCC gathered for a special charity drop at Moeggesukkel, a place filled with stories, history, and a strong sense of community.

It was the season of spring cleaning, and many members had spent the weeks before sorting through their homes. Clothes that no longer fit, books already read, blankets, kitchen items, and toys that were no longer used were carefully packed into boxes. Instead of letting these things collect dust, they were given a new purpose — to help others.

But the day was about more than just giving things away.

We also spent time learning about the history of Moeggesukkel. We listened to stories about how the community started, the challenges it had faced, and the strength of the people who called it home. It was a meaningful reminder that every place has a story and every person has a journey.

We also shared a joyful treat – ice cream with the community.
