Charity Event @ Exodus Ministries (Shelter for the Homeless) | 15 Sept 2019
On the morning of the 15th of September Zambezi MCC had our 3rd quarterly charity run. The bakkies were loaded and the bikes ready to roll by 10am. We arrived with the usual thunder that accompany Harley Davidsons by the delight of the occupants of Jacaranda Care Centre and Exodus Ministries.
Many of the Zambezi MCC Legends did their part by sorting through some of their unused items while spring-cleaning to provide many useable things to the care centre. Henk explained the vision and mission of Jacaranda Care Centre and Exodus Ministries to us and thanked us for our visit to them and how needed our support is. We supplied some non-perishable food items and served them a lunch of curry and rice.
Afterwards we ventured out to Taste 4 Mozambique for lunch and a much-needed refreshment.
