Dynamic Women for Children was established on the 1st of October 2012 by Marlene van der Walt.
The care centre is located right next to Kameelfontein Primary School. It’s a safe space for underprivileged children to receive balanced cooked meals, transport to and from schools and assistance in completing their homework daily.
They are monthly given a toiletry bag and the centre also provides clothing. Their vision is to uplift, empower and support children on an emotional level, with the necessary professional services to deal with their trauma, circumstances and challenges.
It’s easier to raise strong children than to heal broken adults. As the priority is taking care of their basic needs, no funds remain to spoil the children with new toys.
That is where the Zambezi Legends made a huge difference on the 4th of December 2021. A smile was put on every child’s face by giving each a personalized gift and they showed gratitude and spirit with their own quirks and jokes.
They thoroughly enjoyed receiving their very own gift from Santa. Giving is not just about donating IT’S ABOUT MAKING A DIFFERENCE!!
Showing the children that they’re precious and important enough to receive our time.
Always remember: every charitable act is a stepping stone towards Heaven. How privileged we are to be able to give: not just in the form of a present but giving our time, compassion, sympathy, empathy, and love.
