A Memorable Day at the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre.
On the 2nd of March, we had the privilege of experiencing a truly special day at the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre. As passionate supporters of wildlife conservation, we eagerly participated in activities that aligned with our love for these magnificent creatures.
Our day began early, allowing us to witness an exhilarating cheetah run. The sheer speed and grace of this remarkable animal left us in awe. Accompanied by our exceptional guide, Sam, we embarked on a captivating guided tour. During this adventure, we observed not only cheetahs but also wild dogs, all immersed in their feeding time.
As part of our commitment to helping those in need, we extended our generosity to the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre. Despite having sponsors in various areas, they welcomed our support with open arms, particularly in the realm of cleaning supplies, an area previously lacking assistance.
Additionally, the center offers an animal adoption program. While adopting an animal doesn’t mean taking it home, the funds contribute directly to feeding and caring for the chosen creature. In our quest to make a difference, we decided to focus on the animal with the fewest adoptions. Allow us to introduce you to Phinda. We will be supporting this cheetah from March 2024 – February 2025
