COAT OF ARMS
At Zambezi MCC, we believe in God, we believe in family and we believe in making a difference.
Two Swords
1. We believe in God.
2. We make a difference through the charity we do.
Shield (Weapon or Defence)
1. A family that stands together, wins together.
2. “Grab life by the handlebars” image represents our history. We know where we come from, we know where we are and who we are, and we know where we are going and what we stand for.
Skulls
1. Skulls do not represent gender – we are all equal.
2. They are similar in size – no one is more important than the next.
3. The skulls are positioned at the sides of the shield, individually we protect and honour our family.
4. The teeth represent the following core values:
– Respect
– Honour
– Loyalty
– Trust
– Integrity
– Dignity
– Honesty
– Family
– Charity
– Love
Feathers
1. Each original Zambezi member is represented by a feather. A singular feather may look peculiar but together we form a unique pattern.
Specific colors:
2. Orange – Harley Davidson, the brand we like.
3. Old gold – Represents our history, achievement, victory and quality.
4. Platinum – Clean without prejudice is strength.
5. Gold – Compassion, courage, passion and wisdom.
I think it is clear that our patch stands for something, has value and is an object of desire and therefore can only be achieved in one way, and that is on a motorcycle be it as a pillion or rider. Our patch does not climb trees, nor does it sit on benches or chairs and it hates lying on the ground. It can therefore always only be in one of two places… Either on your back or on a hanger.
If you would like to introduce someone to the Zambezi family, you’re welcome too but remember, you are responsible for them and you will coach and mentor them as well as manage their expectations because it will take them at least nine months to obtain a patch.
